Located on the doorstep of one of the most visited cities in the UK, Holly Tree Lodges offers a memorable stay in the heart of North Yorkshire.
Set around a serene fishing lake, our lodges have been designed and built to cater for couples and families alike – and six out of the eight welcome four-legged family members too.
Completed in 2023, each lodge is appointed with a private hot tub, sauna* and comfortable indoor and outdoor dining, offering our guests the opportunity to truly unwind and share quality time with family and friends.
*Two lodges have been specifically built with wheelchair-using guests in mind, and unfortunately, due to the adapted use of space to accommodate wheelchair access, these two lodges do not have a sauna.
Our lodges are built from sustainably-sourced pine and spruce and they each garner part of their energy needs from roof-mounted solar panels.
Each lodge, named after stunning examples of the softwoods they are composed of, is fitted out with brand new amenities, whilst our interior designer has carefully upcycled antique furnishings to give each lodge a bespoke identity.

Comprising a double bedroom with french doors leading to the decking, a twin bedroom and shower room with a sauna.
Each lodge also benefits from a well equipped kitchen.
Outside is a private decked area with a sunken hot tub and seating area, parking and electric charging point.

Holly Tree Lodges
All our lodges are built to a traditional timber style and nestled around the edge of a small lake. They are well equipped and offer guests a high level of comfort throughout. There is a local pub just a short walk away which serves home cooked food. Each lodge has a private decked area with furniture and a private bubbling hot tub.
